Our oldest furbaby also changed behavior the week before Thanksgiving. I also toted him off to his vet, who he loved. He spent most of the week there because he was dehydrated and needed fluids. We also found out that he was in kidney failure. On Thursday afternoon, we got the call that we needed to make "the" decision that as a pet owner you never want to make. His kidney's had gone into full blown failure. We brought our boy home for the night so that we could spend just a little more time with him before we had to say goodbye. My husband took him in on Friday morning and our kitty went to a better place. I grieve with you because it is amazing the impact a little ball of fur can have on our life and our heart. I'm sorry for your loss. She use to love laying under the tree and in her younger days playing with the ornaments. It's crazy the void they leave behind. The Boss Ladyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03790624686362596098noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1100140666365898132.post-12317922400730832882013-12-05T16:53:22.220-06:002013-12-05T16:53:22.220-06:00Glad you got an answer and I guess after finding o...Glad you got an answer and I guess after finding out about the heart defect, glad she didn't suffer for a long time. They are so unconditional in their love and affection it would be impossible not to feel what you are feeling when they are gone. Love and peace to you as you come to terms with the loss of your Juliet. Soon the pain will subside and you will only remember the joy she brought you.
