The Jedi Warrior

For a brief moment, I thought I had been graced with a real Jedi at my Mother's Day picnic.

Some of my family pulled up, and I went out to greet them with my new Flip video camera. (Yes, I'm playing with it - it's fun!) Out of the van door popped a little 3-foot tall Jedi warrior.

He looked suspiciously like my 4-year old nephew, Robert...so I thought I'd question him.

After persistent questioning, as you can hear on the video, I was rather disappointed to find out it was not a Jedi, but "just Robert." And a crabby Robert, at that.

Darn it. I thought I had a celebrity there for a minute.

And the guy sticking his tongue out at me at the end? My father. Which explains a lot about me.

Peace.

Kara - I DO love it! I'm still getting used to it - I have to learn to hold my hand still when I'm filming.... and I struggle with the upload a little bit (to a Mac? Don't know if that has anything to do with it). But I love the fact that it is so small and fits in my purse easily - and charges easily! :)

And the same to you! I hope you get back to blogging - I see the photos on Facebook but I miss the stories of the McTriplets!

My 8 yr old nephew has a Flip. I tried to get him to give it to me when I saw him Sunday. He professed to love me, but wouldn't hand over the camera. LOL

Poor "Just Robert," he didn't want to be bothered. If he had powers, he would have taken care of you!
